Dear TJE Familes,
Welcome to the 2025-26 school year! I am happy to be serving as this year’s PTA president. I am the mom of a 3rd grader and 5th grader, and over our time at TJE I have had the pleasure of volunteering in a variety of ways. Getting to know the teachers, my sons’ classmates, and working with so many creative and thoughtful adults has been a true joy for me. I’m looking forward to meeting many more of you as I continue my work with the PTA!
Our PTA recruits volunteers and fundraises throughout the year to support special events and activities, especially our learning enrichment Alive! programs of Garden & Science, Art, Music, and Kindness. These programs are a special part of the TJE experience and often a highlight for both the students and volunteer docents. We also provide funds to support our teachers, classroom enrichment, campus improvements, our volunteer-run library, and our fun community events!
More than just gathering to raise money, we hope to build a sense of friendship and community with our PTA events. TJE is a special place because of all the amazing people who give their time, energy, and positivity to support our children.
I hope you'll join us for some fun on campus, either volunteering in the classroom or at an event, sharing your ideas at a General Meeting, or attending an event and making some new friends!

About the PTA Executive Board
Elections are held each spring. Contact [email protected] if you are interested! All positions are open for election each year in April to vote for the PTA Board for the upcoming school-year. Current board members can return and hold a position for a second year with a term limit of two years per position. All positions can also take on an assistant if there is interest. All returning positions can always be challenged. Come get involved and meet other parents and support your school! More information in the documents below.
